East Putnam
CHURCH RENOVATIONS AT EAST PUTNAM COMPLETED

Redecoration of the East Putnam Church has been completed. A new carpet and altar rail have been installed, the walls papered and ceiling whitened. The Christian Endeavor Society is having a sign made for the outside of the church.

The Christian Endeavor Society met Sunday evening with fourteen present. Walter Hayden conducted the meeting. David Blood, Charles Brassard, Walter Hayden and Chas. Roberts played selections on their guitars.

Mrs. Mary Gamarche and daughter of Killingly Center and Robert Gileran of Providence were supper guests Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Hayden.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Watson and daughter Jean entertained over the week-end Mr. Watson's mother, Mrs. Ida Watson of Attawaugan.
