PRINCE INDICTED IN SLAYING OF HALF-CASTE GIRL
HONOLULU, Oct. 29. (UP) Prince David Kawananakoa, sole male descendant of Hawaii's last king, was under indictment today, accused of the second degree murder of a half-caste beauty, 21 year old Arvilla Kinslea, with whom he had been living. The true bill was returned by the grand jury.
She died in the prince's Waikiki apartment after a fight with the young native at a drinking party Saturday night.
Prince David was ordered arraigned Monday on the indictment, which charged that the beautiful part-white girl died of neck wounds suffered in the kitchen of the apartment she occupied with the prince.
Her fatal injuries presumably were caused by pottery broken during the fight between herself and the prince.
