Extract of a letter from Cadiz. March 16.

"This place is thrown into the greatest consternation and confusion, by an order which our government has issued for the immediate removal of all the French, preceded by an attachment on their effects. There are many opulent merchants here of that unhappy nation, who must be ruined by this measure."

Letters from Cadiz of the 9th of March mention, that the French had captured some Spanish vessels, and that there are orders at Cadiz to stop all French vessels in that harbour.
