Full Text

We have just been informed, that no less than 600 persons have applied for passages in the North River steamboat, which leaves at 5 o'clock this evening—There will doubtless be a still greater number of applications for passages in the boats which leave to-morrow evening and on Sunday morning. Many persons have already gone; and when it is considered what numbers will assemble from the west, from the springs, and from the north by stages, some idea may be formed of the assemblage at Albany, to witness the proceedings of the legislature.

It is a fortunate circumstance, that the capital of the state has numerous public houses, and ample accommodations.
