The Benefit of the “Little Giant.”

There ought to be no need of urging our people to show a real zealousness and alacrity in purchasing the tickets for the Benefit to-night. In the first place the show is an excellent one; and in the second place it is needless to say that the proposed benefit is in aid of a proposition in which every property owner in Ormsby county is interested. This Parisian Circus is one of the best shows that has ever been in this part of the country and as such has merited and received a liberal patronage; but of course Mr. Wilson cannot afford to give a performance in aid of anybody but himself unless his expenses are first insured. This has been done by the committee. They have insured him a given sum of money, and unless enough tickets be bought to make up that amount, of course the deficit will have to be made up by said committee. We can't afford to let them lose any money by this enterprise nor yet merely make a stand off;—but we should, one and all, come up with our dollars and make it certain that the one thousand tickets printed for the committee are every one of them purchased. Remember also that there will be, so far as it is possible that one can be arranged, a change of programme.
