Revival.--A great excitement upon the subject of religion, is at present existing in the city of New York, among the various denominations of Christians. On Sunday, notwithstanding the high gale and severe snowstorm, over three hundred persons were baptised in the East river, by different clergymen of the Baptist denomination. A large portion of the converts were females, who went fearlessly into the water, and showed no signs of cold or terror. Upwards of six hundred on the same day attached themselves to the Methodist Congregational and other churches in the upper part of the city.--Baltimore Clipper.
