THE DAKOTA FLOOD.
Latest Reports From the Flood Districts of the Mad Missouri.

BOWDLE, Dak., March 28. - Late reports from Lebeau, Scranton and La Grace say that Jake McCarthy, a man named Kirkland and four others are now known to have been drowned in the bottoms near La Grace. No telegraph wires having connection to any of these places they did not hear of the rise at Bismarck, and more lives are supposed to be lost and not yet reported.

The ranches of Skinner and Williams in Campbell are under thirty feet of water. Skinner's entire herd of 200 cattle was swept away, and part of Williams' herd. The water is still rising and if two feet higher is reached the towns of Lebeau and Scranton will be submerged.

The Grand River ice broke yesterday and is now overflowing. It is expected when the gorge at Bismarck breaks that the river will rise several more feet.
