Full Text

Closing of the Philadelphia Fair.--The Inquirer says.--The Fair was formally closed on Tuesday evening. It has been well attended during its three weeks of existence, and has resulted well although it will probably not realize as much as was expected of it. Still we have been more successful than any other city except New York, and there is a probability that even that metropolis may be exceeded. It cannot now be stated what the moneyed results of the Fair will be--It will average somewhere about a million of dollars.
