leader Willie Bioff on income tax
evasion charges is postponed until
next spring.
Government attorneys asked the
postponement to allow time for a
previous trial of income tax evasion
charges against several motion picture
executives in New York. The
same witnesses will be needed
against Bioff.
The labor leader is accused of
evading taxes of $48,000 on his in-
come for two years. Bioff was re-
leased from jail in Chicago last
