DUQUOIN, Ill.—Coach Oscar Firth of the Murphysboro Township High school football eleven believes that in Freely Woll he has discovered a second Red Grange among southern Illinois High school gridiron stars.

Woll labors under the handicap of having only one arm, but in the season just closed he gained more yardage than any other player in the Little Ten conference.

Against West Frankfort, Woll ran 5 yards from scrimmage for a touchdown and against Cairo took the ball on a kickoff and scampered 95 yards for a touchdown. Woll's physical handicap is no barrier to his ability on the gridiron.
