Back from the Convention
Mrs. Hayes and the delegates of the "King's Daughters and Sons" Convention have returned. They are rejoicing over the hospitality of the people of Statesville, and the most successful and harmonious convention in North Carolina. The King himself seemed to be present and presided over this assembly. The following officers were duly elected and appointed for the coming year: Mrs. Ham Smith State Secretary, Mrs. Fannie Hays Assistant State Secretary, Miss Carrie Wood Recording Secretary, and Miss Jennie Withers Assistant Secretary.
