Com. vs. Washington Bell; attempt to commit rape; motion to quash; minutes of yesterday to be corrected so as to show the impaneling and swearing of the Grand Jury; motion to quash overruled; exceptions; demurrer to indictment overruled and exceptions; three pleas in abatement; 1st plea overruled on inspection of the record; replication to plea No. 2; issue and jury; demurrer to plea No. 3; demurrer sustained and exceptions.
Rule vs. Wm. H. Harrison and others to next term to show cause why they should not be fined for contempt in failing to attend as jurors on the 2d day of this term.
The Grand Jury appeared in pursuance of their adjournment and presented an indictment against Peter Harrison for wilful and corrupt perjury, a true bill; continued to next term and recognizance enlarged.
