Poor Missouri

Is having a hard time of it. A set of the radicalest radicals in all the land, headed by the noisiest demagogue (one Chas. Drake) of the West, having been at Washington, besieging Mr. Lincoln to disband the State militia, throw overboard Gov. Gamble, put the State under the control of abolitionists, and, chief among all these accumulated wrongs, establish there, as dictator, the infamously notorious pro-Consul of New Orleans, Benj. F. Butler.

The President promises to give their address "a careful consideration."
