FROM VERA CRUZ.-The steamship Ohio, Capt. Burns, from Vera Cruz, with two hundred men of the Ohio Regiment, under command of Col. Irwin arrived here on Saturday last. The British bark Alexander, Sutherland; U. S. schr. Gen. Patterson, Jackson; and schr. Sarah Churchman, from Vera Cruz, and U. S schr. Velasco, Decker, from Tampico, have also arrived with troops. The steamship Portland, Capt. Place, arrived on Saturday, from Vera Cruz, with 350 men of the 4th Indiana Regiment, and the following officers: Col Gorman Lieut Col Dumont; Captains Lander, Alexander, Fitzgibbon, Faber, Bury, Vandusen and Dawson. Lieutenants Molhem, Hamilton, Lewis, McClain, Brackett Davis, Amsden, Reynolds, Aycrigg, Pilbeam, McPhettridge, Yeager, Way, Hayes, Combs and Allard. The Portland reports having passed, on the 26th ult., going into Vera Cruz, the ship Atlas, from New York, with troops.
