Full Text

We are glad to learn that the work on our Western Railroad is about to be started and prosecuted under new auspices, and with new life and energy. Mr. Frink, of New York, an energetic and experienced Railroad builder, has bought out Mr. DeGraff one of the old contractors, and will at once prosecute the work to a speedy completion. The iron for 27 miles of track has been purchased and will be delivered as soon as it can be used.

The indomitable and energetic President of the Company, Josiah Bond, Esq., has just returned from New York, where he has been on business connected with the road, and reports all things as now arranged in the most satisfactory manner. We certainly hope there will be no further delays or interruptions of the work.
