BIRMINGHAM--(ANP)--
"Home in Glory," a three act Negro drama written and directed by Clyde Limbaugh, Birmingham playwright, was presented twice last week at the Municipal auditorium by the Federal Theatre of Alabama, using an all-Negro cast of WPA actors. On one night it played to a Negro audience and on the concluding night it was given exclusively for whites.
The play portrays a story of a rural family of Alabama Negroes against a background of folk songs and spirituals. It marked inauguration of the Federal Theatre project here and is to be followed by performances of white units of the project.
