Rev. Reddick's message was enthusiastically approved with amen's. The devotional part of the morning Service was conducted by Rev. Calvin Parker. Mr. Edward Scott, a visitor, was welcomed by Rev. Parker.
The Charles Jacob Missionary Society will present Mrs. Eunice Jones, a member of the Gospel Temple Church of God in Christ, as their guest speaker; her subject will be "Let Us Now Go To The Field."
Others taking part in the Service will be: Mrs. Lydia Brown of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; Mrs. Clara Smith and Mrs. Ruth McDonald, President of Foreign Missionary Society of Mt. Olivet and Mrs. Fannie Starks of Isabel Temple.
The Board of Christian Education will meet with the Board of Christian Education of Pilgrim at Pilgrim, Friday, April 27, at 7:00 P.M. All members are asked to please be present.
The Planning Committee will meet Thursday, April 26, 8:00 P.M., at the home of Kenneth Robinson, 905 Fuller Avenue.
The Planning Committee is looking forward to Women's Day, which will be on May 13, Mother's Day. Bertha L. King is program Chairman; Mrs. Mattie Ellis and Miss Mittie Lockhart are Chairmen of the Finance Committee. An outstanding speaker has been secured and the Planning Committee asks each member and friend of St. James to attend.
