General Tennis Notes.
The Greenville Y. M. C. A. Lawn Tennis Club will be organized this week. The courts on the association field will be put in condition and will be ready on Saturday. Over twenty young men have signified a willingness to join the club.
The Danforth Tennis Club elected the following officers at the meeting last week: President, F. B. Lockwood; Vice-President, George McAneny; Secretary, Clarence Detwiller; Treasurer, Charles Detwiller.
The Pearsall Tennis Club at the meeting last Tuesday evening, elected the following officers: President, E. J. Dusel; Vice President, H. Bartlett; Secretary, John Jardine; Treasurer, S. McAneny.
Lawn tennis in Greenville is achieving greater popularity than ever. Private courts, belonging to Mr. Lemheck, Mr. Reed, Mr. Vreeland and others, are in daily use.
The Danforth Lawn Tennis Club will arrange its summer schedule in a few days.
Mr. Hermann Jaehne and Robert Carey have joined the Pearsall Tennis Club.
