A party from the White Mountain Station House met a party from the opposite side at the top of the Mountain during a pilgrimage to contemplate nature. The two parties numbered 75 to 100. Someone suggested singing a hymn, which was agreed to, and they sang the tune 'Old Hundred' with the words: From all that dwell beneath the skies, Let the Creator's name arise; Let the Redeemer's praise be sung, In every land, by every tongue.
