WASHINGTON, FEB. 12.
ON the 2d ult. a TALK was held with the Little Turtle, and the Chiefs of the Miamies, Pottawattomies and Weas Indians, in the presence of the President of the United States.
The speakers were Pottawattomie and Little Turtle. They expressed the attachment of the tribes for the white People; and suggested their wants and wishes.
The talk being translated, an answer was returned by the President.
The Secretary of War then delivered an address to the Chiefs, which was answered by the Little Turtle.
