Farmer Falls
From Haystack
Scotland, July 13.-Carl Walters,
a well known farmer of the Scotland
territory, died from injuries received
in a fall from a haystack.
Himself and daughter were engaged
in stacking hay when he lost his
balance and fell, striking the ground
on his head. His neck was displaced
and although conscious all the time,
he was paralyzed from the neck
down.
He was rushed to a hospital where
he died 48 hours later. He is survived
by a widow and five children,
the oldest child being 13 and the
youngest a babe of three weeks.
