Force Bill Apparently Dead.
Washington, Jan. 27.-The republican senatorial caucus committee met this morning and agreed to recommend to their colleagues that after the apportionment bill was acted upon the eight-hour bill and the copyright bill shall be taken up in the order named. The caucus committee also decided to dispose of other pending measures of public interest in this order: After the copyright bill, is to follow the Indian depredations bill, the Paddock pure food bill, and the Nicaragua canal bill reported by the committee on foreign relations. Meanwhile, individual senators are to be allowed to call up measures not included in the above list in morning hours and it is believed some advancement in business will result from the use of this privilege.
