MANY BILLS INTRODUCED IN THE HOUSE YESTERDAY

Little Rock, Jan. 12.-The House got down to business yesterday, having made greater advancement in legislative matters in the first two days possibly than ever before in its history. A total of 31 bills was introduced. There were half a dozen bills for the repeal of local road district laws and only 1 bill for the creation of a new district. Mr. Belote of Hot Springs county, offered a bill creating a district in his county for the improvement of 150 miles of roads. He said that the people of his county are solidly behind the movement and that he has the support of the entire county.
