On Tuesday last, the Coroner's Inquest sat on the Body, and adjourn'd to Tuesday next, in order that the Body may be open'd, and the Surgeons examin'd.
----This can be but Manslaughter, according to Maddy's Case in 1 Ventris p. 158. for Maddy coming Home, found one Mavers in the Act of Adultery with his Wife, and immediately he took a Stool and struck Mavers on the Head, so that he instantly died; and the Court were all of Opinion that it was but Manslaughter, the Provocation being exceeding great.
