Morris Isenberg, 39 years old, 2014 North Seventh st., was ordered held for mental examination when he was arraigned in district court today on a charge of assault and battery.
The examination will be given by Dr. Edward J. Craite.
Isenberg was arrested late yesterday after a melee in the offices of the Jewish Social Service Assn., 1002 West North ave.
He is accused of having attacked Miss Goldie Rosenblum, 580 Marshall st., secretary of the association.
Officials of the association said Isenberg had been at the office several times, demanding more assistance. He and his family are being aided by the association, they announced.
