Home Service Workers Hear of Lighting Plan
Shown above are the home service workers of the Carolina Power and Light Company as they gathered in Raleigh for a week's instruction in the five-year program of home light conditioning now under way in the company's territory. They heard lectures and witnessed demonstrations of the latest methods of proper home lighting from Miss Helen McKinley, lighting specialist of General Electric Co., Cleveland, O., and T. B. Smiley, residential sales sponsor for the power company. Advice of the home service workers is given free to housewives and electrical dealers. Attending the school from the Henderson territory is Miss Margaret Long, seated second from right. Miss Long is home economist in this area.
