MRS. THELMA BYRD RAGLAND
Mrs. Thelma Byrd Ragland has been chosen Parent of the Year of the Georgia Avenue School PTA.
Mrs. Ragland, a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church has contributed greatly to her community in civic, religious, and PTA affairs.
For the past three years she has served as the most efficient PTA secretary. She has served as grade mother and a member of the Parents Council of the Georgia Avenue School. She has also served as chairman of the Mothers March on Polio, the Heart Fund and the American Cancer Society Fund.
Mrs. Ragland is the wife of Mr. Wade Ragland and the mother of five children.
Capable and cooperative and ever faithful is the Georgia Avenue School Parent of the Year, Mrs. Thelma Byrd Ragland.
