HENDERSONVILLE WELCOMES THE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE
Hendersonville is happy this week in having the privilege of entertaining the Women's Missionary Society of the Western North Carolina Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. It is not necessary for The Times-News to say that all the Christian people of the entire community regard it as a privilege for Hendersonville to be the place of meeting of this organization of the good women of one of the leading denominations of the State.
Hendersonville hopes the Methodist women may have a most satisfactory and successful meeting of their organization and that at its close all may feel that it has been "good to be here."
The doors of Hendersonville are always open to the Christian women of the State and country, individually and collectively, of all denominations—the women who carry so many of the burdens of the churches and of denominational support and work, and who always labor in a spirit of faith and optimism which is an example and inspiration to the male members of the churches.
