Amongst this class of men ranks Col. W. C. Greene. No man has ever done for a state of the west, what Col. Greene has done for Sonora in five years. In that short space of time his projects have risen to world wide renown. Whatever he has undertaken has been well and wisely done. The stamp of a strong, persevering character are notable in his industrial enterprise. Not a camp in the west have better conditions of labor.
