Raleigh Rails Meet
For Wage Drive Talk

RALEIGH, N. C.-J. M. Davis, general chairman Norfolk Southern. outlined the work done on the wage movement in the Cleveland meetings and during the Washington sessions at a recent meeting here.

The meeting was a joint affair called by Lodge 741 President R. W. Lewis for BRT, ORC. BLE and BLF&E members for a discussion of the wage movement.

"I do not know whether President Truman knows it or not," said J. J. Collier, 741 member and member of the state legislative board, "but the people do not want to be under the rule of a dictator, Dr. Steelman, or any other man. We do not believe this is the American way of life."
