LOST—by the Editor of the Aurora
THE PEOPLE.
As they cannot be found in bodies corporate or incorporate—juries or grand juries—mayors, aldermen, councils, elect or common—in old men or YOUNG MEN— married or single—in private parties, public associations—city, town or county meetings,—in short, as the Editor has not recognized the Sovereign People in his Lucubrations by those mediums through which they are discernible by all the world beside—a generous reward will be given to any good casuist who will devise some new and monstrous sophistry by which the deluded dupes of an inveterate faction may yet be made to believe that THE PEOPLE of the United States hate their own patriots, government and constitution.
