The Democracy of Pennsylvania, like those of Indiana, have achieved a most glorious victory. A complete fusion of the Fremont and Fillmore elements was effected against them, and the "Union" ticket undoubtedly polled every vote that can be secured for either Fillmore or Fremont in November. The majority for the Democratic ticket over the combined opposition is from six to ten thousand, and Mr. Buchanan will unquestionably carry the State over either of the opposing candidates by at least forty or fifty thousand. The following is a list of the members of Congress elected:
st Dist. Thos. B. Florence, Dem.
d Dist. E. Joy Morris, Union.
d Dist. James Kelley, Dem.
th Dist. Henry Phillips, Dem.
th Dist. Owen Jones, Dem.
th Dist. John Hickman, Dem.
th Dist. Henry Chapman, Dem.
th Dist. J. Glancy Jones, Dem.
th Dist. Anthony E. Roberts, Union.
th Dist. John K. Hunkel, Union.
th Dist. Wm. W. Dewart, Dem.
th Dist. John G. Montgomery, Dem.
th Dist. Wm. H. Dimmick, Dem.
th Dist. Galusha A. Grow, Union.
th Dist. Allison White, Dem.
th Dist. John Ahl, Dem.
th Dist. Wilson Reilly, Dem.
th Dist. John R. Edie, Union.
th Dist. John Covode, Union.
th Dist. J. Knight, Union. (probably.)
st Dist. David Ritchie, Union.
d Dist. S. A. Purviance, Union.
d Dist. Wm. Stewart, Union.
th Dist. J. S. Myers, Union, (probably.)
th Dist. John Dick, Union.
In the present Congress the Democrats have but six members. All the others are gains. A thousand cheers for the Democracy of the old Keystone!!
