There will be a session of the U. S. court in this city, commencing July 7. The trial of cases will commence on the following day, when the jury will have been selected.
Several damage suits appear on the docket, as follows:
W. R. Brown vs. D. D. Daniels.
Margaret Rosencranz vs. Great Northern Railway.
German C. Johnson vs. Great Northern Railway.
Of criminal cases there will perhaps be several, but nothing is known at present concerning them.
Numerous papers throughout the state have been copying the slander which appeared in the Forum some days ago. That a false impression may not be scattered broadcast, it is fitting that the papers correct their statements when cognizant of the real facts in the case.
That there has been no collision or misunderstanding between the county authorities and the U. S. court officers is emphasized by the action of these officers in calling a session so soon after the article appeared.
