PREACH OBEDIENCE
TO LAW, NEFF SAYS

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 29. -- Daily callers make
and every mail brings appeals from every section of
Texas asking for aid to suppress lawlessness,
claiming that local authorities cannot or will not
enforce the law. Governor Neff declared today in a state-
ment to the people of Texas.

The governor called on preachers,
editors, county officials and teachers to
preach, write and speak about supremacy
of the law on Sunday, Jan. 29 and
Monday, Jan. 30.

He also called upon
all patriotic law-abiding men and wo-
men to unite with him in a definite
campaign of enforcement of the law.
