Campaign to Raise a Million

Chicago, April 11.-Business interests, church people and commercial organizations have joined with the young men of the city in a money-raising race against time, which promises to be brought to a successful culmination tomorrow.

The whirlwind campaign organized by the Young Men's Christian Association entered on the last stage today, and it is now certain that it will rush the jubilee and endowment fund past the $1,000,000 mark and set a new record for cash getting in a hurry.

No city ever tried to raise more than $1,000,000 for its Y. M. C. A.

Since the movement started with the fiftieth anniversary two years ago $832,000 has been raised, but now the organization's needs have grown and with them has developed the determination to go after the total sum needed--$1,170,000.
