Mummy Cloths.

A Cairo newspaper enters into a long calculation of the number of mummies which must have been embalmed and deposited in crypts, pits, sepulchral chambers, &c., during the existence of Ancient Egypt as a great and populous country; and proposes that Mahomet Pacha should allow their clothing to become an article of extended commerce in the linen trade, valued at least at ten millions and a half of dollars! The digging up this treasure, it is further calculated, would bring to light jewels and other materials of archæological price!
