NEWARK, Del., June 11.-William Howard Taft, former President of the United States, in an address delivered at Delaware College, in this city, yesterday, said that the United States must go into Russia and make the eastern battle front, which had been lost through the treachery of Germany.
While the establishment of the eastern front would be a great task, said Mr. Taft, "no task is too great for the United States. We are going to whip the Germans. We have more money, more munitions, and soon will have more man power than any country in the world for the purpose of ridding the world of the serpent of militarism."

WASHINGTON, June 11.—Senator King of Utah has introduced a resolution providing that an American military force be sent to Russia, acting in conjunction with the allies, including Japan and China, to expel the German military power and aid in effecting Russia's economic, industrial and political freedom.
