A Deacon Expelled From The Church
FOR VOTING FOR BUCHANAN.—Mr. G. P.
Stibbins, a Deacon in the Free Will Baptist
Church, in Alpine, Michigan, has been ex-
pelled from that church for the offense of
voting for Buchanan. A good sign for that
church. It looks as though its anti-slavery
meant something. Anti-slavery Bugle.

The above is true, although it hardly
appears possible. It shows the fanaticism
and intolerance of black republican bigots.
In this county, last fall, one preacher of
the gospel declared that those who voted
for Buchanan would go to hell, while an-
other said that "no Democrats should be
allowed to partake of the Communion!" Not-
withstanding the "bulls" of these self right-
e ous D. D's the Democracy carried the
county, and "Old Buck" graces the Pres-
idential chair! Seneca (Ohio) Advertiser.
