HAGUE, May 15.

THE Convention entered into between the Court of France and this Republic, concerning the re-taking of their respective ships captured by the enemies, was received here on Friday night, ratified and signed by his Most Christian Majesty. It is therein stated, that in case any privateer belonging to either power should within 24 hours after the capture, re-take any ship or ships, half of the value thereof should belong to the said privateer, and the whole prize, if it should be re-taken any time after the 24 hours. If rescued by men of war, in the former case, the recaptors will be entitled to a 30th part only, and to a 10th, if the rescue should happen after the 24 hours.
