Church School Starts Sessions
The central district of the Daily Vacation Church School started sessions this morning at 9 o'clock in First Methodist Church with an attendance of 33. Miss Muriel McKercher, director, is assisted by Miss Mary Alice Power, music; Miss Frances MeCutcheon and Miss Emily Gooding, crafts. Miss Sara Lewis, kindergarten; Mrs. Nello Kenady, primary department, and Mrs. Harold Naas, Junior.
Further assistants are Misses Frances Lister, Alta Gable, Shirley Barnes, Ruth Parker and Mary.
At the west side district of the Vacation Church School there were 30 attendants this morning, with Mrs. William R. Shaw general supervisor. Mrs. Harvey Pohnert and Miss Ida Brink have charge of the kindergarten, with Mrs. Alvin Anderson and Miss Mary Ann Whan, assistants. In the primary department Mrs. Ira Rumney, Mrs. Bernard Rossbach and Miss Jeanne Ann Bell are in charge. The junior department is under the direction of Mrs. Shaw assisted by Mrs. Oliver Huston and Miss Jean Ohlinger. Mrs. Harold Badget is registrar.
