Opal Funk, Ruth Sellars

Ruth
Davis Are Prize Winners

The eighth grade penmanship contest of the Kirkville school resulted in the first prize of one dollar being awarded to Opal Funk, the second prize of seventy-five cents to Ruth Sellars and the third prize of fifty cents to Ruth Davis.

The entire class of twenty-two pupils deserve much credit for the result they obtained by their earnest effort and faithful practice. Their books were a paragon of neatness and legibility of which the school may well be proud.

The service rendered by Prof. H. Cl. Hollingsworth as judge was greatly appreciated by all. Miss Clara Goltry is the principal.
