Camp Operators Are Cleared Of Child Burning Charges

MANCHESTER, Tenn.- (SNS)- Three white tourist camp operators were freed Tuesday after spending 19 days in Fayetteville jail on murder charges in connection with the burning to death of five infants. Sheriff Banks, of Coffee County, dropped charges against the camp operators. The camp had reported to the sheriff that five babies had been cremated there one of them burned alive. Banks said investigation had revealed no evidence to substantiate the accusations, and that an FBI laboratory test of ashes and bones found in a rubbish heap at the camp was "negative" revealing no evidence of human bodies.
