RUSTY NAIL CAUSE OF A GIRL'S DEATH

Butler, S. D.—Stepping on a rusty nail caused the death of Armada Snipstad, the eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Snipstad, prominent residents of Butler. A week before her death she stepped on a rusty nail, which pierced her foot near the great toe. The wound was treated in the usual way that night. It healed and apparently was all right until a day or two before her death, when symptoms of poisoning began to develop. She was rushed to a hospital at Bristol, where physicians made every effort to stay the progress of the poison and save her life, but without avail.
