Miss Margaret Boyden, student at Kalamazoo College, in Michigan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. Boyden, of Key West, has been selected for the lead in the annual play production by the seniors of the college.
The play is "The Late Christopher Bean," a humorous and at the same time appealing story of middle class life and the theme is unfolded in such a manner as to furnish a decided contrast to the sleek sophistication of many modern plays.
Miss Boyden's ability is peculiarly adapted to the character of Abby, wife of the late Christopher, whose one ambition in life is to keep the pictures of her artist husband. which have become famous.
The manner in which she foils the big swindle which is being planned to secure the pictures is the outstanding theme of the story and furnishes Miss Boyden with a perfect vehicle to display her artistic ability.
