Fatal Affray at Vergennes.—On the 1st inst., a serious affray occurred at Vergennes (Vt.) between the Circus men and several Irishmen, in which one of the latter was killed, and two others seriously if not fatally injured. Certain of the Irish who attended the Circus exhibition in the forenoon, demanded a free admittance at the evening performance—which was, of course, refused. These persons, after the performances were closed, waylaid and attacked one of the Circus company, on which the others came to his rescue, beating off the aggressors.
