Full Text
The Centennial.
To the Editor of the Press:
I regret to say that I think your article in this morning's Press places the Centennial Commissioners in rather false position. I am confident I can show to you quite plainly that the commissioners have acted in good faith, exactly in accordance with the acts of Congress, and that nothing like jobbing has been attempted in the slightest degree. I would, therefore, in behalf of the commissioners as well as the cause, I have so much at heart like to reply to some of the points in your article if you will do me the honor to publish it in Wednesday morning's issue.
Yours with esteem,
C. P. KIMBALL.
