Full Text
Gen. E. Bouton, the foreman of the late grand jury, elsewhere in an interview states how he came to file his nervy minority report after the jury had been discharged. That a little error in time should cause a document of unspeakable value to the people to be legally annihilated, is a misfortune, but the people know what the document contained, and public opinion overwhelmingly sustains the views it expresses. This is not an age in which public views are formed by order of court, or obliterated because a judge orders a page of his records erased.
