DOLLAR MORE A WEEK FOR CHILDREN'S CARE

Mrs. Mabel Adams, was the prosecuting witness against Paul Adams, her husband, in City Court today when he was charged with non-support of his three children. The woman testified that Adams was arrested last year on a charge of non-support, and until a month ago he had been paying $3.50 a week toward the support of his children. The charge was held up and Adams was ordered to contribute $4.50 a week toward the children's support, Judge Cochran saying: "If you know what's good for you, you'll pay it weekly or else you will get in my clutches again."

Mrs. Adams said her husband earned from $13 to $15 a week and turning to Judge Cochran she exclaimed, "$3.50 a week is not enough to keep three children on. Do you think so, Judge?"

Adams denied that he earned as much as his wife had said and said his wife had refused to accept three weeks' payment from him.

Adams was ordered to pay the $4.50 allowance to Agent Stout weekly.
