Eileen Overturf, Rt. 2 London, is among the 50 young women who are newly enrolled in physical education, health, and dance studies in the department of physical education for women at the University of Wisconsin this semester, it has been announced by Dr. Marie L. Carns, director of the department.
The UW department of physical education for women is one of the nation's leaders in its field, and its hundreds of graduates are engaged in teaching and research in the field throughout Wisconsin, in every state in the Union, and in several foreign countries.
