Full Text

The danceland syncopaters of Colfax who have been conducting occasional Wednesday night dances here plan upon making the Moscow dance a regular Wednesday night affair.

Dances here the attendance has been poor. There has, they add, been a misconception in the minds of many of the citizens regarding the conduct of these dances. The syncopaters intend to make the dance cleaner than the public dances held here formerly and the floor rights will be reserved. They have added another instrument to the orchestra in the person of a well known saxophone player, Hyman Hersey, of Moscow, and leader of the University jazz band. There is no doubt that dances of character cannot be objectionable. On the contrary the change that has swept over the country has come to Moscow and the syncopaters are among the clean players who will give this city a clean program.
